New editions: ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 14001:2026

Two of the world’s most widely used management system standards have just been revised. ISO 14001:2026 was published in April 2026 and ISO 9001:2026 in September 2026, each with a three-year transition period for certified organisations. ISO 14001:2026 fully integrates climate considerations and gives more attention to biodiversity, resources and the value chain. ISO 9001:2026 strengthens leadership expectations around quality culture and ethical behaviour, and expands its guidance annex. ISO 45001 is also under revision, with a new edition expected in 2027.

ISO 9001 quality management training

• ISO 9001 Foundation (2 days): the process approach, risk-based thinking, customer focus, leadership, and the requirements of clauses 4 to 10.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (3 days): planning process audits, tracing evidence, writing nonconformities and verifying corrective action.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (5 days): leading audit teams through the full audit cycle using ISO 19011, with exam preparation where an accredited exam is included.
• ISO 9001:2026 transition (1 day): the changes in the new edition, a gap check of your current system and an updated internal audit checklist.

Our ISO 9001 training uses practical scenarios such as a customer complaint, a supplier failure and a process change, so participants practise tracing requirements through real records rather than memorising clauses.

ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 training

• ISO 14001 courses: environmental aspects and impacts, compliance obligations, life cycle perspective, climate considerations, emergency preparedness and environmental performance evaluation.
• ISO 45001 courses: hazard identification, risk and opportunity assessment, worker consultation and participation, contractor management, incident investigation and the hierarchy of controls.
• Integrated auditing: because all three standards share the harmonised structure, one audit can cover common clauses such as context, leadership, competence, document control and management review, with specific checks for quality, environment and safety.

How the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 training is delivered

• Live online. Instructor-led virtual classes over Microsoft Teams or Zoom, with breakout exercises, shared workbooks and the option to split longer courses into half-day sessions across a week or two.
• On-site at your premises. Private training for your team at your office, delivered by a consultant who can use your own policies, systems and examples in the exercises.
• Private and tailored. Every course can be run for a single organisation, with case studies drawn from your sector and the depth adjusted to your team’s experience.

On-site courses can include a short practice audit of a real process or site area, agreed with your team in advance.

Certificates and accredited exams

Every participant who completes a course receives a certificate of completion from Security Solution Consultants. Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer courses can include an accredited certification exam through our accredited training partner, for standards where the partner offers one. Your quote confirms the exam body, exam format and certificate for each course, so there are no surprises on the day.
